Mrs. Otto's Updates

I am thrilled with the progress made by the students so far in chapter 3.  They are getting homework done on time, and we check it in class each day.  Every few days, we look at the learning targets to assess our progress.  With Team Time, we are working on skills through games, and will add problem solving strategies next week.  Most days, the students have time in class to work on their assignment (guided practice).  They are asked to do only the circled problems, althought they can do the entire page for extra practice.  If there are questions on assignments at home, please have your child return to class to get them answered.  This is a longer chapter, with 22 lessons, so the post-test will not be given until the last week in trimester 1.  This is a great group of students!
