Project Copernicus is a District 279 pilot project that allows students to bring their own computing devices to school as a collaborative tool to increase academic achievement.
Woodland’s 5th and 6th grade classrooms are nine of the fourteen classrooms district-wide taking part in the Project Copernicus’ pilot year. Often on the cutting edge, Woodland is affording our students a great opportunity to experience learning in a new way by transforming our classrooms, furthering student-centered learning with student-owned technology.
Bringing student-owned devices to school is optional. It is important to stress that this action is NOT required.
