One of the ways we engage families and community members is by using advisory teams to inform the work to achieve our mission for all students.
There are several openings on advisory teams for the current school year; please consider if one is right for you!
District Planning Advisory Council
The District Planning Advisory Council promotes community and staff involvement in planning for and evaluating existing instructional programs. DPAC membership is based on interest, not educational expertise. Evening meetings are held monthly through April.
Special Education Advisory Council
The Special Education Advisory Council promotes involvement of parents and community members who have children with disabilities in district policy making and decision making. Evening meetings are held monthly (except for December).
Activities Program Advisory Council
Members of the Activities Program Advisory Council provide feedback on the activities program for gr. 7-12 and develop recommendations for continuous improvement. Meetings take place about three times per year. High school parents are specifically needed as members of this group.
Advisory teams reflect one of our core values: We believe that better decisions emerge when diverse perspectives are intentionally included in a collaborative process.
Please consider contributing your voice by volunteering for one of these groups (contact information is available by following each link above).
